Something is happening today. Notice how nobody except Yankee fan is congratulating the Yankee$ for winning the World Series. No there is a tidal wave of outrage that the Yankees got away with buying a championship. And rightfully so.
But the outrage is real. Believe it. I knew there would be some angry baseball fans but I didn't expect it to be like this. There is a tide of outrage across the country, on the blogs and the internet. People are demanding that baseball fix the system before it's too late. Eventually, baseball will have to listen to them before it gets sunk by a torpedo of apathy. I mean - if one team is ruining baseball for all the others, what's the point of watching?
In the meantime, Yankee fan knows they didn't really earn their title, it was bought. Congratulations to the Philadelphia Phillies for being the true World Champions. No congratulations are forthcoming to the Yankee$. With a payroll like that, the Yankee$ should have won at least 145 games and they failed to do so. So I will not congratulate them.
I'm done with this game until it's fixed. Or, preferably, the Yankees franchise is contracted.

hahahaha...this is one of my favorite posts ever. I agree with you the game needs to be fixed and the yankees are the worst ran team in baseball the last 10 years but this post....omg this post...

And Dont forget a big CONGRATS to the 2004 Cardinals & the 2007 Rockies for there WS Championships!
I would also like to congratulate the Tampa rays for beating your useless Overpaid Steroid riddled Red Sox last season. The Rays were the true WS Champs in 2008 seeing that the Phillies Team payroll was over $50 mil higher than Tampa's.
