I really think trent is going to be a descent QB....granted we give him enough time to throw the ball.  I firmly believe that we need to focus on rebuilding our line with seasoned lineman and quit drafting O-lineman.  It hasn't worked for for years and its a gamble.....Go out and sign some free agents or trade for some protection.  Granted Trent does check down a lot, but so would you when you are getting guys in your face after a count of 2.  Leave the kid alone.  Focus on rebuilding our special (education) teams and that would have helped put some more wins on the board. 

the correct opinion is edwards has the tools and ability to be good but his lack of competitive fire will never allow him to be successful.  An NFL qb should be a leader and fiery competitor if you want to win a superbowl.  Could you IMAGINE a fierce competitor like peyton manning throwing a 2 yard pass on 4TH AND 23!!!!!  He just quit that game.  Thats enough for me to know hes not an nfl qb.  Still think he has NFL ability just not the heart.  4th and 23 is almost impossible to convert but that doesnt mean you check down.  That should be enough for every fan to realize hes not checking down because of a bad o line or recievers not being open but because he simply is NOT the warrior you need at the QB position.  Trent is going to miss out on tens of millions of dollars, fame and glory because of his cowardice....and as a bills fan that makes me sad.

yeah i think that play is why he started calling him chris everett...Rome should have retired after that interview.  It was his career peak.  Check out Frank Caliendo doing rome...priceless
